Fall, or autumn, is traditionally bulb planting time. Generally bulbs are a set-and-forget, or at least low maintenance, way to get colour in your garden, every spring and summer, for years to come.
Planting evergreens on steep slopes makes a lot of sense, when one considers the relative set-and-forget nature of these plants.
